Quality Assurance Technician

A local food manufacturer is currently hiring an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to support their growing operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail and a passion for food safety and quality assurance.

Quality Assurance Technician Details :

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $ 18.50 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Third Shift (Monday through Friday from 10 : 00pm to 06 : 30am)
  • Responsible for ensuring food safety & quality
  • Perform changeover inspections, pre-operational inspections & auditing in process QC Checks
  • Train shift personnel on food quality & safety practices
  • Investigate product holds & customer complaints
  • Conducting facility inspections & auditing production and sanitation processes

    • Quality Assurance Technician Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma; college training in math or science preferred
  • 1+ years in a laboratory or related inspection work
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Audit production QC inspections & data
  • Perform raw material and packaging receiving verifications
  • Prepare customer samples and swab samples for shipment
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections prior to weekly start-up Identify, tag and segregate nonconforming Items
  • Perform scheduled GMP Inspections and Glass & Brittle Plastic Inspections
  • Audit production and sanitation procedures for compliance with documented procedures
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
