The Assistant Controller role will work under the Controller. This position will be responsible for managing accounts payable, cash flow and day to day accounting tasks. It is expected that this person be a business partner to the organization and a leader for the accounting team.

What You'll Do :

• Manage accounts payable for the company
• Manage month end closing and day to day accounting functions for the company
• Assist in reporting of timely and accurate financial statements
• Assist in developing and managing internal control environment for the company
• Perform high quality monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Review tasks performed by the accounting team such as reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist in developing cost accounting analysis and reporting
• Assist in developing KPIs to measure organizational performance
• Manage process documentation and improvements for the department
• Lead process improvement initiatives
• Develop skills to be ERP subject matter expert for accounting
• Business partner to the leadership team
• Other tasks as assigned
