Performs professional engineering for projects related to the water and sewer infrastructure of the City. Develops and reviews engineering standards, provides customer service to property owners, and oversees development of water and sewer improvements.

- Develops and reviews engineering design and standards and oversees construction activity within the department.
- Provides customer service and coordination between consultants, engineers, staff, and other departments.
- Oversees development of water and sewer improvements for new subdivisions; responds to complaints and inquiries.
- Provides updates on number of connections to the water system; compares data with TCEQ requirements.
- Assists with capital improvement projects and TxDOT; provides technical advice as needed.
- Coordinates with other utility departments to identify any conflicts with existing or proposed infrastructure.
- Submits Council Communication agendas.
- Will be required to drive a City vehicle for City business use.
- Performs related work as required.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science degree from an accreditedcollege or university in Civil Engineering or related field.At least one (1) year of experience in the practice of civil, mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering or related engineering field.Council of Higher Education Accreditation (C.H.E.A.)Valid Licenses and Certifications

Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) License is required. ( Copy of P.E.
