Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for a contract/temporary opportunity in Rialto, CA. This role supports warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment and is ideal for a safety-focused professional with hands-on experience operating stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and dock stockers.
This position offers steady warehouse work, a team-oriented environment, and the opportunity to contribute directly to efficient shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate stand-up forklifts, including reach trucks and dock stockers, to move, store, and retrieve warehouse inventory.
- Use RF scanners to complete shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment transactions accurately.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments while inspecting freight for damage and quantity accuracy.
- Palletize, stage, and prepare shipments for trailers and vans according to warehouse procedures.
- Conduct cycle counts, support inventory accuracy, and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
- Complete forklift inspections, report equipment issues, and follow all safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.

Shift : 8 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Operate stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and dock stockers in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Support shipping, receiving, inventory movement, order fulfillment, and freight staging activities.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems to maintain accurate product movement records.
- Perform freight inspections, cycle counts, forklift checks, and general warehouse housekeeping tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience required, including reach truck and/or dock stocker operation.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous forklift certification preferred.
