Required Skills :

Installation and Configuration of SQL database servers
Managing Support of Prod, Dev, QA ,test environments
OS Knowledge- Windows, Linux, AIX, AWS EC2
SQL Server cluster Creation, Configuration and maintenance
Monitor Performance of all database servers
Access Management
Space Management
Server Health check reports
Follow database best practices
Ensure all database servers are backed up so we can meet the business Recovery Time Objective (RTO)
Troubleshoot SQL Server and Oracle database server
Performance tuning database servers
Migrate / Upgrade / Patching database servers as and when required
Deploy database change scripts provided as approved
Backup and recovery using Rubirk tool
Supporting DR and HA solutions
Inventory Management (maintaining OS / server / equipment information managed by the engineers, Server resource detail, allocation, licensing info, end of life details, etc.)
Documentation of processes
On-call support
