Commercial Roofing VP of Operations

About the Opportunity :

We are seeking a driven and experienced VP of Operations to launch and lead a new branch in the greater DFW market. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected commercial roofing contractor with solid client relationships, a strong reputation, and a backlog of work already secured. As the Vice President of Operations , you will take full ownership of branch success, driving profitability, team growth, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Full P&L responsibility for the new DFW branch, ensuring profitable growth and operational success.

Build, hire, and mentor your team of project managers, superintendents, service leaders, and office staff.

Oversee both new construction and re-roofing commercial roofing projects , ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Work closely with executive leadership to implement company standards, while shaping branch-specific strategies.

Leverage existing client relationships and backlog to expand the branch’s footprint and long-term revenue.

Drive accountability, establish operational systems, and set the standard for future branch growth.

Qualifications :

Minimum 10 years of commercial roofing experience , including both new construction and re-roofing.

Proven leadership track record with experience in branch or division-level management.

Strong financial acumen and prior P&L responsibility required.

Ability to recruit, develop, and retain top talent.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building a team and scaling a division.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
