We are in search of an experienced Machinist that will be responsible for fabrication assembly maintenance and repair of tooling used in production.

We are hiring for the day shift M F 7 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm

We are only hiring for full time work - 40 / hrs week or more overtime is available.

Hourly salary range : $29.0033.00

  • Wages are DOE subject to a variety of factors including but not limited to : Union Contract wage scale prior relevant experience skilled experience and / or certifications in specific areas of skilled manufacturing. Wage advancement and opportunity are outlined in the CBA.

We are a Union Shop. We are part of the USW Local #289 M (United Steel Paper and Forestry Rubber Manufacturing Energy Allied Industrial and Service Workers International) Union.

Job Duties will include but not be limited to :

  • Fabrication maintenance and repairs of production tooling through the operation of manual lathes mills surface grinders drill presses and some semi-automated machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Use precision tools to take accurate measurements

    • Position Requirements :

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this position and be able to perform the following essential tasks continuously for an 8-hour shift.
  • High school diploma or equivalent completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of the properties of metals and other materials
  • Stand at workstation for entire shift
  • Lift up to 50LBS
  • Work in cold winter and hot summer conditions

    • Job is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen within 24-hours of job offer. Pre-employment and random drug screening does not include marijuana.
