A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor, fully remote in Hagerstown, MD.
Key Responsibilities
Provide empathetic, ethical, and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing distress or seeking guidance
Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including levels of risk and urgent safety issues
Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically sound documentation while multitasking across multiple software systems
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
Minimum of 1 year direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
Ability to ensure a secure, HIPAA-compliant home workspace
Emotional resilience and the ability to handle a variety of call types
Availability for remote scheduling, including weekends and holidays
