Systems & Security Administrator
As our Systems & Security Administrator, you will:
- Adhere to an IT strategy to support the organizations business objectives.
- Develop and maintain hardware and software procurement and inventory processes. Maintain IT asset inventories in line with licensing, corporate and requirements.
- Design, operate, and maintain corporate telecommunications, network, and systems infrastructure.
- Administer and provide, either directly or through others, high level technical support to users, which includes enforcing computer operations policy, providing guidance and/or assistance troubleshooting computers, telephony and communications hardware, software, and networking technologies.
- Be responsible for contributing to the budget process for computer, telephony and communications systems.
- Enforce information security controls in accordance with organizations policy and industry standards. Maintain corporate Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems. Monitor logs for critical events.
- Responsible for all new computer equipment, both hardware and software installations. Evaluates needs and proposes appropriate solutions.
- Assist in LAN/WAN design, management and maintenance, including multiple branch offices.
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring corporate records and report storage on network storage systems.
- Monitor complete systems operation and report unusual conditions. Is responsible for monitoring computer usage in internal controls. Provide annual reports to management summarizing computer operations.
- Perform internal audits and assists with external audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, in addition to at least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Industry certifications are preferred.
Preferred:
- Experience administering a multi-site / branch environment using WAN/LAN technologies.
- Experience in administering Windows Server systems, CISCO routers, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft365, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Desktop operating systems, Voice over IP telephony systems.
- Expert knowledge in networking, DNS, and networking protocols.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft EntraID /Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Expert knowledge of Information Security, including but not limited to firewalls and VPN's
- Knowledge of SAN
- Experience in systems design and operations, preferably in a financial institutional environment.

Hours:
M-F 9:30am-6:00pm (possible alternating schedules when necessary)
Pay:
$28.50-30.50/hr
