• Type of Position: Temp to hire.

• Starting Pay: $19.00/HR.

• 1st shift: 6:00 A 2:30P

  A day on the Job:

As a Quality Inspector, you will be an essential part of ensuring the highest standards of quality in our sheet metal manufacturing processes. Your role will involve:

• Reading blueprints to understand product specifications.

• Using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accurate dimensions.

• Collaborating with production teams to guarantee that all products meet quality requirements and comply with established standards.

• Addressing any deviations promptly and implementing corrective actions.

• Developing an understanding of customer needs and requirements.

• Aligning quality control processes with customer expectations to ensure products consistently meet or exceed specifications.

• Assessing geometric characteristics of products, including length, width, height, angles, perpendicularity, roundness, flatness, position, shape profiles, surface characteristics, edge sharpness, thickness, and uniformity.

• Utilizing precision measurement instruments to verify the accuracy of measurements and ensure products adhere to required specifications.

• Investigating and identifying root causes of quality issues.

Qualifications:

• Two years of recent experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably in manufacturing.

• Experience in blueprint reading.

• Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
