Description - Your Role

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across multiple disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure result accuracy through meticulous analysis, address any discrepancies, and maintain lab instruments through regular preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Assist with sample collection and prepare specimens for testing as required.
• Document all procedures with utmost detail, provide training to new staff or students, and uphold quality assurance standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification as a condition of continued employment.
