Position Summary Functional Medicine of Idaho (FMI) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support IV therapies, peptide services, and other functional medicine-focused patient care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment and is passionate about patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and teamwork.
This LPN will serve in a hands-on clinical capacity, including administering and supporting IV therapies, providing direct clinical support to providers, and performing patient triage. The role also includes supporting daily clinical operations, maintaining efficient workflows, ensuring high-quality patient care, and contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports
- Track and maintain medical supply inventory
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
- Create and contribute to patients' medical records as needed
- Educate patients about treatment plans
- Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Assess patient health and detect changes in symptoms, taking appropriate action when necessary
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patient needs
- Administer nutritional IV therapy following provider orders
- Communicate with patients regarding their plan of care, pre/post-care, and the appointment process

Qualifications - Active LPN license in the State of Idaho (or eligible for licensure).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinic or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse clinical team.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while adapting to frequent changes.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite; strong technical and analytical skills.
Work Environment - Full-time, onsite role in a clinical setting.
- Requires extended periods of standing, walking, and interacting with patients and staff.
- May involve occasional travel to other clinic sites for training or coverage.
