[job_card.job_description]A current student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Risk Management & Insurance, or a similar field. Two years of course work completed towards a degree (Junior or Senior) would be preferred. Minimum GPA to apply is a 3.0 on a scale of 4.0. Must be in the same geographic location as the job (Cincinnati, OH) or willing to relocate yourself. This is NOT a remote position. Exhibits exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills. Demonstrates effective research tactics and organizational skills. Demonstrates agility in a professional and effective manner. Initiative for problem-solving and taking action to drive results. Ability to convey a positive and professional presence with all stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Open to feedback and self-development. Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality

About The role
The Lynx Specialty Underwriting Intern will work alongside a diverse team, to assist and support the Underwriting team.
What You'll Do
- Receive training to assist in the underwriting of property insurance.
- Review and analyze reports to make informed underwriting recommendations.
- Support underwriters with coordinating and processing polices.
- Participate on special projects, as assigned.
