[job_card.job_description]Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement. Four years of relevant experience. Experience working with programming language skills SQL, Python, R, Java script, Experience in visualization program such as Qlik Sense and Tableau experience is a plus. Some experience in the medical field is desirable. Demonstrated experience in front-end web application development, with the ability to design, build, and maintain user-facing interfaces using modern web technologies.
Summary
The Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine, in partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital, seeks a Senior Program Analyst. This position will administratively support ongoing data needs and informatics division initiatives, led by Dr. Ila Singh. This position will provide high-level analytical, operational, and strategic support for the informatics division. Performs hardware / software evaluations, analysis of requirements, programming, testing, implementation, problem solving, enhancements and required maintenance.
Job Duties
- Meets with users to discuss requirements to ensure objectives, timelines, and deliverables are met.
- Designs, codes, develops and implements methodologies to measure program effectiveness, and debugs programs.
- Conducts complex data analysis.
- Prepares detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Supports ongoing data needs and Informatics division initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
