Information Systems Manager

Information Systems Manager is a functional / technical project manager who is responsible for the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) of medium to large-sized projects on the Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One (JDE E1) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, along with other ancillary and integrated solutions. Information Systems Manager has JDE E1 general knowledge with expert knowledge in two functional process areas. Additionally, Information Systems Manager has intermediate technical JDE E1 tools and techniques of knowledge, SQL writing, and Data Access Studio (DAS) reporting experience. Information Systems Manager is a global role where he / she proposes improvements in JDE E1 that will enhance the users' experience, standardization efforts, as well as identify and deliver end-user training to increase user efficiency on IS-related software and hardware.

Global Consultation And Support

  • Serve as a consultant to business partners and their respective organizations to meet informational needs for manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • Propose improvements in JDE E1 that will enhance the users' experience.
  • Technical experience in designing and supporting integrations to peripheral solutions.
  • Working knowledge of JDE E1 security roles creation and troubleshooting.
  • Identify and deliver end-user training to increase user efficiency on IS-related software solutions.

Operations Delivery Organization And System Support

  • Timely communication and resolution of assigned support tickets.
  • Timely communication with stakeholders on projects.
  • Evaluate, document, and manage medium to large IS projects through the full SDLC including implementation and user support.
  • Ensure assigned modules along with ancillary and integrated applications are functioning as expected stable, scalable, cyber safe and supportable.

    • Stakeholder Interaction

  • Timely communication with stakeholders on medium and large size IS projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with functional process area stakeholders.
  • Solicit business feedback and input to ensure user needs are being met and incorporate into IT operational and project management improvements.

    • Experience : Intermediate To Advanced :

  • JDE E1 technical and functional process experience, with Manufacturing or Distribution knowledge.
  • Hands-on SQL writing.
  • Project management experience, PMP preferred.

    • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Expert level knowledge in two JDE E1 functional process areas.
  • Intermediate technical JDE E1 tools and techniques knowledge.
  • Intermediate technical knowledge of JDE E1 security roles creation and troubleshooting.
  • Independently resolve application and data issues.
  • Strong verbal, written, listening, facilitation and presentation skills (including ability to probe deeply into business issues during exploratory and fact-finding calls / discussions).
  • Ability to effectively work and create effective partnerships with employees at most levels within the organization.

    • Work Conditions : This position qualifies for the 100% remote policy at Printpack. This position should expect after-hours escalation on-call duty.
