Certified Medication Aide - Full Time Overnight - Full-Time

Position Summary :

The Certified Medication Aide is responsible for safely and accurately administering medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality care, supporting residents with daily needs, and ensuring a calm, caring environment during the overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer oral, topical, and inhaled medications as assigned and per physician orders
• Accurately document medication administration, refusals, and resident responses
• Report changes in resident condition to the charge nurse promptly
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) during overnight hours as needed
• Perform safety checks, rounds, and monitoring per facility protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized medication cart and medication room
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding medication administration and resident care
• Provide compassionate, respectful interactions supporting resident dignity
