Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

• Mobile Outreach & Event Coordination :
• Check the daily calendar for scheduled events
• Make sure van is fully stocked with supplies (tablecloths, water, informational flyers, medical supplies)
• Drive the mobile van to outreach locations and events
• Set up outreach stations, including tables and chairs
• Provide information and resources to community members (May see homeless / low income / underserved / latino populations / people living in remote areas / farm workers)
• Facilitate referrals for people seeking mental health and healthcare services
• Help connect them to resources for various healthcare and social services
• Clinical Services :
• Conduct vital sign assessments (blood pressure, etc.).
• Perform diabetes testing
• Administer injections
• Collect and process lab specimens (simple tests)
• Work with SmartCare electronic records system.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.

Experience :

Schedule / Shift

Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM + Weekends if needed (Need to be available on weekends for events)

Pay : $45-$47 / HR
