Data Center Cable Technician (Entry Level - Intermediate Level)

We are seeking an entry-level Cable Technician to support a large-scale data center construction project. This role involves installing, routing, terminating, and testing low-voltage cabling in an active construction environment. Candidates should be reliable, coachable, and comfortable working with hand tools, ladders, and construction documentation such as blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

• Install work-area outlets for floor monuments, modular furniture, and wall-mounted systems.
• Pull and route cable using fish tape and other methods through walls and modular furniture.
• Perform pre-termination tasks: organizing, dressing, measuring, labeling, and prepping cables.
• Properly suspend and support cable using cable trays, J-hooks, D-rings, bridal rings, and trapeze systems.
• Build telecom closets, including mounting backboards, racks, patch panels, fiber hardware, and grounding equipment.
• Execute fire-stopping procedures, install sleeves, and pull cable through penetrations and pathways.
• Terminate low-voltage devices and support ongoing installation tasks as assigned.
