As a Project Manager at Hunter Quinn Homes, you will lead the full-cycle construction process, with responsibility from pre-planning through warranty service. This role demands a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of residential construction, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering quality, safety, and a customer-first experience. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and trade partners to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement, delivery, and installation of materials.
• Coordinate and oversee trade partner activities, providing clear direction and intervening as needed to uphold construction quality and standards.
• Manage and update project schedules daily using the online scheduling system, ensuring timely completion of work.
• Review and approve weekly purchase orders, invoices, and contractor payments.
• Monitor construction costs, identify variances, and recommend process improvements or cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee punchout activities and final construction tasks to ensure homes are ready for closing.
• Partner with trade partners, architects, inspectors, and internal teams to proactively resolve discrepancies, field issues, and inspection challenges.
• Lead customer-facing construction meetings, including pre-construction meetings, frame walks, New Home Orientations, and final walk-throughs.
• Support warranty coordination and communication with homeowners to ensure timely and satisfactory issue resolution (as applicable per market).
• Inspect completed warranty work to confirm quality and compliance with company standards (as applicable per market).
• Inspect incoming materials for accuracy and quality prior to installation.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify compliance with workmanship expectations and company standards.
• Determine readiness for third-party and municipal inspections and confirm completion of each construction stage before approving payment.
• Enforce jobsite and subdivision safety requirements, addressing and reporting violations promptly and removing non-compliant personnel as needed.
• Manage all aspects of SWPPP compliance, including scheduling installations, repairs, and conducting weekly inspections.
• Support special projects, initiatives, and tasks assigned by the Leadership Team.
• Participate in company-sponsored events, including Realtor and customer presentations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of residential construction or project management experience (production homebuilding preferred).
• Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects and coordinate diverse teams of contractors and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of construction schedules, budget controls, and local building codes and permitting processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficient with construction scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
