Part-time After school Evening shifts Year-round

Schedule:
TuesdayFriday 3:30 PM 7:30 PM
No weekends required
Optional Sunday shifts (12 PM 4 PM) starting in the New Year

Job Summary:
British Swim School of Newton is seeking year-round Swim Instructors for our after-school program at the YMCA Wells Ave location. This is a long-term, meaningful position where you will help children build water safety, confidence, and lifelong swim skills.

Responsibilities:
Teach small-group swim lessons to ages 3 months17 years
Use our gentle, play-based survival swim curriculum
Encourage students, track progress, and maintain safety
Interact professionally with families
Bring positive energy to each shift

Required Qualifications:
Comfortable in the water
Friendly, upbeat, and enjoy working with children
Reliable and punctual
Able to work TueFri 3:307:30 PM
Coachable and eager to learn

Preferred (Not Required):
Experience with children
Swim team or aquatics experience
CPR/First Aid or Lifeguard background
Customer service experience
