Construction Inspector at Albert A. Webb Associates (WEBB)

WEBB is currently seeking Public Works Construction Inspectors for part?time and / or full?time on?call project?based positions. Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of experience inspecting the construction of roads, traffic signals, water, sewer, and storm drain facilities. The position requires familiarity with a broad spectrum of general civil construction activities, materials, methods, and processes.

Salary range : $67,080 - $153,296 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document construction processes; prepare daily inspection reports using an iPad.
  • Read, interpret, and enforce construction drawings and specifications.
  • Work at sites in the Inland Southern California and Coachella Valley areas.
  • Identify construction issues, communicate clearly (written and verbal) with the project team, and prepare accurate as?built drawings.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical school or college degree preferred).
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook) and iPad.
  • Desired Certifications :
  • Cal / OSHA Trenching and Excavation
  • Cal / OSHA Confined Space
  • Traffic Control and Flagger
  • ACI Concrete
  • APWA Public Infrastructure Inspector
  • ICC Reinforced Concrete
  • Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP)
