Telephone Operator

A company is looking for a Telephone Operator to manage incoming calls and provide support in a medical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Efficiently answers incoming calls and connects callers with the appropriate extensions

Takes and relays messages accurately and responds to emergency calls promptly

Performs operator functions including triaging calls and maintaining the switchboard

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum two years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting

Ability to sit for long periods and perform manual tasks related to office equipment

Vision must be correctable to 20 / 20 and hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts

Must show proof of influenza vaccination upon employment
