ProfessionalTruck Driver

Responsibilities:

• Operates vehicles to transport equipment
• Supports the sales department with equipment delivery
• Loads and transports equipment to and from customer locations
• Instructs customers on basic equipment operating procedures
• Loads and transports equipment between dealership locations
• Picks equipmentupfrom vendorsas needed
• Picksequipmentupfrom the Deere factoryas needed
• Delivers bulk fluids to customers
• Performs pre-trip inspections
• Maintains,cleansand cares for trucks and trailers
• Maintains activity records and obtains necessary signatures and receipts
• Provides complete and thorough work order documentation
• Accountsfor all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties
• Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT and company policy

Dealership Standards:

• Ensures an organized, professional workspace andmaintainsvehicles,tools, devices,and equipment
• Reports to work on time, manages time effectively, and works well independently and in groups
• Upholds a professional personal appearance
• Supports dealership customer service efforts and promotes all company departments
• Follows safety regulations
• Completes required training
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

• One or more yearstruckingexperience
• Experience with legal,safe methodsofloadingandhaulingwideand/or heavyloads preferred
• Experience with basic computer functions
• Abilityto drive automatic andmanual transmissions
• Able to lift, bend, and carry
• Valid drivers license with an insurable driving recordrequired
  
• CDL (Commercial Drivers License)required
  
• DOT Health Card or ability to get onerequired

Haug Implement Co.providesan estimated base pay range. The actual starting pay offer will account for our overall wage and benefit package, applicant experience, training, skill, and internal equity among our existing employees. This is an hourly position with a potential hiring offer rangeof $22.00-30.00per hour,based onthefactors listed above.
