Job Title : Shipping / Receiving Clerk

Location : FRCASE NAS North Island / Naval Base Coronado, CA

Task Description :

SHIPPING / RECIEIVING CLERK, BLS 43-5071, SCA 21130

Function : Prepares finished product for shipment or storage by placing them in shipping containers, the specific operations performed being dependent upon the type. Knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content; selection of appropriate type and size of container; inserting enclosures in container; using excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage; closing and sealing container; and applying labels or entering identifying data on container. Performs range of supply duties to include but not limited to, receiving, material handling, warehousing, and issue of all types of repair parts and materials.

Required education : High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Compensation

$25.91 / hour

Other Compensation

Employees will receive a health and welfare fringe benefit of $7.75 for every hour paid up to 80 hours per pay period.

Employment is contingent on (a) your ability to provide appropriate proof of your identity and eligibility to work in the United States; (b) your references and any background check being satisfactory to the Company; (c) you successfully passing a pre-employment drug test; and (d) your ability to get a required clearance by your effective start date, if needed; and (e) KAI commencing performance on this contract.
