Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university
- Typically 2-5 years of experience in the nuclear industry
- Demonstrate effective leadership qualities
In addition, all candidates must have the minimum technical qualifications :
A good understanding of Level 1 PRA tasks (., initiating events analysis, accident sequence analysis, success criteria, systems analysis, human reliability analysis, data analysis, quantification, internal flooding), Level 2 PRA tasks (., plant damage state analysis, containment event tree analysis, MAAP analysis, containment release binning, LERF analysis, containment safeguards system analysis), and external events (., fire PRA, seismic PRA, high winds PRA, other external events) is desiredExperience with the EPRI Risk & Reliability (R&R) software and codes such as Phoenix Risk Architect suite (CAFTA, PRAQuant, UNCERT, SysImp, FRANX), FTREX, and HRA calculatorFamiliarity with NRC governing codes and standardsExcellent verbal communication skills; Comfortable and effective communicator with team, clients, management, etc., choosing the right mode of communication for the situation and relaying the right messageStrong technical writing skills and attention to detailAdditional Information
