This position is on-site in Long Island (Hauppauge NY).

500 hour engagement to start with likely extensions beyond that.

We are in need of a Security Subject Matter Expert / Technical Specialist in Governance Risk and Compliance.

Responsibilities :

  • Creating and updating cybersecurity policy and standards based on NIST framework.
  • Design and implementation of specialized solutions particularly security or data center technologies.
  • Identifying relevant Suffolk County cybersecurity laws and regulations.
  • Defining risk-based compliance audit process against established cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Establishment of cybersecurity risk tracking risk mitigation and risk exception processes.

Minimum Requirements :

  • 10 years of enterprise experience.
  • Multiple industry and / or vendor certifications.
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. (4 years of additional experience can be substituted for a degree).
