Order Expeditor

The Order Expeditor will be responsible for expediting all Wieland Diversified purchase orders to vendors, maintenance, and issuance of status reports to Electric Boat and Huntington Ingalls Newport News. The expeditor will be responsible for monitoring and verifying orders from Wieland-Diversified to vendors, specifically regarding purchase orders and vendor acknowledgements.

This role is located in East Longmeadow, MA, and will be fully on-site.

Schedule :

  • Monday - Thursday | 7 am - 5 pm
  • Friday | 8 am - 12 pm

Pay Schedule : Weekly

Responsibilities

Order Expeditor Responsibilities :

  • Ensure all vendor purchase orders match acknowledgement confirmations from suppliers.
  • Update Wieland-Diversified systems with information received from vendor open order reports, weekly or monthly.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Quality Control, and Operations to mitigate delivery issues, when possible.
  • Maintain and distribute spreadsheets with up-to-date order statuses.
  • Expedite all orders and issue status reports when necessary, including assisting with the backlog.
  • Maintain files for sales and warehouse, including uploading of certs and cover pages into the ERP system.
