YOUR ROLE : As a key member of the Promega IT Service and Deskside Support (SDS) team, you will provide comprehensive technical support for both Promega and Usona locations. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems, and ensuring efficient operation of IT systems. You will also assist with system maintenance, upgrades, and implementation of new technologies-as well as managing unique technology needs specific to the Usona site. This position demands exceptional problem-solving abilities, a commitment to thorough follow-through, and a proactive approach to both IT support and GRC-related initiatives.
CORE DUTIES :
1. Level 1-3 Deskside & End-User Support
2. Systems & Infrastructure Coordination
3. Maintain and troubleshoot local infrastructure, including wired / wireless network connectivity, cabling, and device imaging.
4. Collaborate with Promega infrastructure teams on system upgrades, performance optimization, and vendor engagement.
5. Perform device imaging, deployment, and configuration following Promega IT standards.
6. Participate in planning and implementing new technologies and enhancements for both Promega and Usona environments.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Associate's degree or equivalent experience in information technology.
2. 5 - 7 years of IT experience
3. Proven background in IT support and systems design that enable process improvement and compliance.
4. Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and networking fundamentals.
5. Demonstrated proficiency in digital tools and technology, including Microsoft applications and mobile platforms, with the ability to adapt and leverage emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to improve efficiency, automation, and collaboration.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent experience.
3. Experience supporting hybrid enterprise environments or regulated industries.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
1. Ability to use computers and standard office equipment.
2. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and 75 lbs. occasionally.
3. Ability to access small or elevated spaces for equipment installation or maintenance.
Must be reachable by phone for after-hours emergency support when needed.
