This position will remain open until filled.
San Luis Valley is seeking a CNA to join our Med / Surg team. This position will cross-train to provide support as a Telemetry Tech and Ward Clerk. Under supervision this position will complete routine duties in caring for hospitalized patients. Duties may vary depending on assigned area.
What You'll Need :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Colorado CNA license
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Ability to communicate effectively, presenting information and responding to questions from patients, other staff members and groups of managers
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to move quickly and efficiently among various tasks
