Adelphi is seeking School Psychologists to provide services to students at a school in Portsmouth, Virginia. The ideal candidates will provide a full range of psychological services to students enrolled in the school in accordance with established standards of care and in compliance with applicable policies and guidelines.

• A master’s degree in school psychology or higher

• Certification by the Virginia Department of Education or Licensure by the Virginia Board of Psychology

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for referred students, including intellectual, academic, perceptual, and personality assessments.

• Complete assessments, scoring, and written reports within established time limits and submit evaluations promptly.

• Participate in required school-based team meetings related to student referral, evaluation, and eligibility determinations.

• Collaborate with parents/guardians and school staff to interpret assessment results and provide research-based recommendations.

• Maintain and use approved psychological test kits in compliance with Special Education requirements.

• Document services provided and submit accurate monthly invoices verifying evaluations and related services rendered.

• Any other duties as assigned.
