Position: Full Time or Part-Time

Job Description:

The Sleep Technologist is RPSGT credentialed and is responsible for providing high quality patient care while performing comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis and associated interventions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review information in patient record to include chief sleep/wake complaint and order for study.

• Set up and calibrate monitoring equipment. Select appropriate recording montage.

• Apply electrodes and other recording devices to patient and verify their proper function.

• Perform pre-test calibrations, making any necessary adjustments to equipment.

• Institute "lights out" and document patient data.

Qualification/Experience:

• Associate degree with an emphasis in sleep technology

• 1 Year as Sleep Technologist (Polysomnographic) is Preferred

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) is Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Polysomnographic Technologist State License of Virginia

• Current CPR or BCLS certification
