In business since 1935, Daubert Chemical Company is a profitable, family-owned specialty chemical manufacturer and a market leader in the brands that we sell to our end users and distributors. We are seeking an experienced senior level EHS Specialist to work onsite at our plant near Midway airport.

As the Sr. EHS Specialist, you will responsible for leading The regular working hours are Monday-Friday with arrival time before 8am, and at times providing off-hours support.

Your knowledge, skills, and abilities :

We are looking for minimum  years related experience in a chemical company, minimum 8 years in logistics and / or warehousing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Prior lead or management experience is required. DOT certification strongly preferred. We prefer a Bachelor’s degree.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint; working knowledge of internet, intranet, data entry and reporting; Word and Excel intermediate level is highly desired. An understanding of managing data and flows in an ERP system is required.
• Embrace continuous improvement and lead by example.
• Demonstrated planning and organization skills.
• Detail Oriented : Capable of carrying out a given task with all the necessary details to get the task done well.
• Ability to manage, train and develop employees; ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Strong collaboration and teaming skills with stakeholders across functions.
• Ability to multi-task and delegate functions.
• Working knowledge to be a resource for effective problem-solving in the department.  Display creative thinking and deductive reasoning skills.
• Possess excellent written and verbal and listening communication skills.
• Travel, on occasion, to 3PL partner warehouses is required.
