Position Overview The Part-Time Pharmacist will play a key role in ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications while offering compassionate patient counseling. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and therapy management
- Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) and immunization services as needed
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, potential interactions, and clinical appropriateness
- Maintain proper documentation and uphold pharmacy quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Support inventory management, including ordering and checking in medications
- Deliver excellent customer service and foster positive patient relationships
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, drug interactions, and clinical best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous retail or community pharmacy experience preferred
- Immunization certification a plus
