The position includes the management of a 21-bed medical-surgical unit and a closed 6-bed ICU, with competitive compensation and lodging covered by the hospital.

End Date : Jun 12, 2023 (Potential to be extended)

Coverage Needs Details :

  • Inpatient Setting
  • Call Only (Not required to be on-site for 24 hours, but must stay within 15 minutes of the hospital)
  • Wednesday June 7th, 2023 7am to Monday June 12, 2023 7am

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • ATLS Certification or CME credits required for CCU
  • Drive-in Candidates only (Utah Resident w / Active UT licensure)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Fellowship Preferred
  • Minimum Board Status : Board Eligible

    • JOB INFORMATION

  • Patient Care Areas : Med Surgery - 21 beds and closed ICU (6 beds)
  • Cardiac Stress Testing and EKG interpretation preferred
  • Report no later than 8 : 15 daily (Rounding begins 8 : 30am - TBA (Depending on Census
  • IDT / Quality Meeting (10 : 30 am daily)
  • System : Med Host (EMR ) & MModal
  • Hospital will book hotel room
  • Census (10 patients per shift)
  • Beds in Department (6 in ICU) (23 in General)
  • Est 5 days for credentialing once application is submitted

    • Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive. Hotel is covered by the facility. We also reimburse for gas / rental.
