Pennoni has a strong history of serving Transportation clients in the Mid-Atlantic Region and we are seeking motivated team members to join our Transportation Team. Our Transportation Team serves Private land developers, Corporations, Municipalities and Transportation Agencies in the Mid-Atlantic Region and beyond. Our goal is to help communities, the travelling public and our clients navigate the ever-changing technological advancements available and partner with our clients on how best to integrate “smart” solutions into resilient and sustainable projects. Job Responsibilities

Pennoni Associates is currently seeking a Marketing Manager experience consistent, but not limited to:

• Work closely with Transportation Engineering team to formulate and implement marketing and business development strategies; identify key clients and pursuits; oversee regional business development and client relations; help forge relationships with consultants, contractors and other AE firms to enter new markets.
• Oversee development of proposals – writing, updating resumes and project descriptions, when needed, updating resumes and reviewing, QA/QC of proposals.
• Oversee development of client presentations and marketing material.
• Client market research, including capital programs and regional plans; lead tracking and researching new opportunities.
• Development of Transportation Business Development Plans.
• Participate in Transportation services growth strategy.
• Pre-Conference/trade show coordination and preparation, including researching and meeting new clients as well as existing clients and teaming partners.
• Attend conferences and perform post-conference follow-up.
• Establish Best Marketing Practices for the group.
• Some travel required.

Required Attributes:

• In search of Dynamic Business Development professional to work in our Transportation Practice.
• Knowledgeable of State DOTs, Commissions, Authorities, etc. as well as AE firms and Contractors in the Transportation industry preferred.
• Marketing background, including proposal preparation.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Attributes:

• Marketing background, including proposal preparation and graphics is a plus.
