Performs procedures involving blood collection, central receiving / specimen handling, and limited technical functions to assist the technologist in performing laboratory analysis.

Hours : 40 Hours / 12 : 30 pm - 9 : 00 pm - NO Weekends & No Holidays!

Location : Western Reserve Hospital / Cuyahoga Falls

Education and Training

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certificate in Phlebotomy or as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Six months previous phlebotomy experience AND / OR completion of a Medical Assistant Program OR a Phlebotomy Program.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire and / or transfer.

Experience

Six months previous phlebotomy experience preferred.

  • Required Course(s) / Skills - Medical terminology.
