The Security Engineer will join the Global Support team to gain familiarity with and assists team members in resolving hardware and software issues. You will field telephone calls, email, or in person appointments to troubleshoot and diagnose a wide range of issues in the hardware, software, virtual/cloud, and infrastructure space.

ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

Our client is building a new security team to standardize identity and access management practices across the enterprise and its customers. You will be one of the first engineers on a team that is being built, allowing for growth and exposure throughout the company.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
You will support programs that deliver new and innovative approaches to securing access management on a massive scale. You will be responsible for responding to high volume tickets regarding new security initiatives. You will be responsible for working directly with internal and external customers to assist them with adopting new security products and adjusting their platform configuration to comply with the latest security standards. You will help contribute to best practices and implement automation & bulk remediations whenever possible.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or 4+ years relevant work experience
• 3+ years of experience in customer facing support engineering
• Experience with automation scripting in Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar
  Experience with SQL
• Understanding of best practices & fundamentals for security engineering including secure development, cloud security, application security. IAM experience is a plus
• Hands-on experience using and/or securing services in AWS
• Results oriented, high energy, self-motivated
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
