Financial Analyst

Description

POSITION SUMMARY: This individual will be responsible for developing, preparing, and coordinating the financial reporting and analysis required to support business objectives. The Financial Analyst possesses an understanding of goals and corresponding metrics of business units and will assist with reporting that supports goal attainment and/or initiates change. The successful candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; will be highly resourceful; have a passion for operational excellence and possesses strong analytical and communication skills.

Pay Range: $54,000 - $72,000

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):

• Deliver analyses and reports to departments and end users upon request, including monthly/weekly/yearly management reporting.
• Assist in the budget & forecast process
• Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies to support business leaders
• Automation of existing and future reports
• Other tasks or assignments as requested

Requirements

IDEAL CANDIDATE POSSESSES THESE ATTRIBUTES:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Expertise with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Experience in Microsoft Power BI and/or leveraging AI in financial reporting/modeling preferred
• Ability to utilize and manipulate data from multiple sources to build accurate analysis
• Ability to conduct scenario analysis to project range of outcomes and understand key drivers
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
