M-F 7 : 00 PM-5 : 30 AM (Sometimes to 6 : 30PM)

Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented Material Handler to join our company. As a Material Handler, you will perform a wide range of production tasks and procedures, including moving and organizing materials, following production schedules, and prepping for the galvanizing process. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role with room for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
  • Team-oriented, motivated, and dependable
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts, or until the job is complete, in all weather conditions
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally
  • Forklift experience (operation and safety certification preferred)

Preferred Skills

  • Hanging and prepping materials for the galvanizing process in a safe and organized manner
  • Cleaning, packaging, and finishing materials after the galvanizing process is complete
  • Tracking all materials on site, both company stock and customer materials
  • Maintaining a neat and organized yard and materials area
  • Operating forklift equipment safely and efficiently
