Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Controls Engineer (Ignition Specialist) to support industrial automation and SCADA projects. This is an onsite role with limited work-from-home flexibility during development phases. Join a collaborative team with a great growth oriented culture!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Ignition SCADA systems
  • Program and integrate PLC / HMI platforms (primarily Allen-Bradley)
  • Support projects from design through commissioning
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
  • Participate in on-site startup and troubleshooting

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of Ignition development experience
  • Ignition Gold Certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Ignition 7.9–8.3
  • Strong PLC / HMI and systems integration background
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Java, and industrial networking
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and flow diagrams
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Electrical and / or EPLAN
  • Valid driver’s license

    • Preferred Experience

  • Rockwell Automation, Wonderware, Inductive Automation
  • EtherNet / IP, Modbus, ControlNet, DeviceNet
  • Process instrumentation and VFDs
  • Project estimating and cost control
