The Opportunity

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking board-certified Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide critical coverage at a high-performing Level III Trauma Center in Pell City, Alabama. Join a supportive, well-equipped team in a community hospital where your skills and leadership make an immediate impact.

Facility Overview

Hospital Type : Community Hospital – Level III Trauma

Annual ED Volume : 24,000 visits

ED Beds : 12 (2 Trauma Bays)

Patient Flow : ~2.7 patients per hour (includes shared APP visits)

Shift Times : 12-Hour Shifts | 6 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM & 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM

APP Coverage : 11 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 PM (12 hours daily)

EMR System : Cerner

Admitting Orders : Pre-completed templates by diagnosis

Candidate Requirements

Board Certification / Eligibility : ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, or ABIM accepted (must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible)

Licensure : Active Alabama Medical License & DEA

Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, PALS (ATLS waived for ABEM physicians)

Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent emergency medicine experience post-residency

File Requirements : Clean file required for emergency privileges
