Cardiovasc Invasive TechJOB SUMMARYThe Cardiovascular Invasive Technician is accountable to surgically scrub in and help with equipment. Helps the Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures is a secondary assignment. Prepares room and equipment, transports and monitors patients. May handle medications in accordance with responsibilities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEHelps Physicians with arteriograms/catheterizations, permanent pacemaker implantations, diagnostic and interventional, peripheral and coronary, interventional and thrombolytic therapy.Related duties include: preparing and maintaining sterile 1 fields for lab procedures; printing film and calculating stenosis on peripheral cases; circulating in procedure rooms and collecting data on appropriate forms; monitoring patient's ECG and vital signs while in Catheterization Lab, notifying Physician of variances, and providing emergency procedures (CPR, defibrillation, etc.) as needed.KEY SUCCESS FACTORSOne (1) year clinical experience preferred.Use of basic office equipment and computer literacy required.Ability to multi-task and self-manager problem solving skills.Ability to demonstrate precision and flexibility.Use of basic office equipment and computer literacy required.Knowledge and ability to apply complex invasive cardiac and vascular values, instrumentation and techniques.Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.BENEFITSOur competitive benefits package includes the followingImmediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%Tuition ReimbursementPTO accrual beginning Day 1QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION - H.S.
