American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least one year of experience and current vascular certification for acute care assignments.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Position is based in a short-term acute care hospital with a Level II trauma designation

Dedicated vascular ultrasound role with no floating between units required

Performs approximately 8 vascular studies per day

Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM

On-call and weekend coverage are required, as needed

Experience with transcranial doppler is preferred

Epic EMR is used and experience is required

Responsible for performing a variety of vascular ultrasound studies and related duties

Department dress code requires solid navy blue scrubs for licensed staff

All travelers are expected to float between sister facilities nearby if required

Must commit to working 3 out of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Requested time off must be submitted up-front and may impact offer

Parking is free in designated employee and visitor lots

Returning staff policy requires a 3-month separation before being eligible to travel again with this client

Online learning modules must be completed prior to start and annually

\n \n Requirements\n

Minimum of 1 year of recent vascular ultrasound experience

Vascular certification is required

Transcranial doppler experience preferred

Current state license required if applicable

Must be able to work on-call and weekends as needed

Must provide 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years

Epic EMR experience required

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility

Returning employees must wait at least 3 months before being eligible for rehire as a traveler
