We are seeking applicants for a Part-time Temporary / Per diem Pharmacist to be responsible for :

• Filling and dispensing of medication orders, including the proper handling, usage and storage of drugs in the pharmacy.
• Must maintain standards set forth by the department and translate policies and procedures into daily operations.
• The Pharmacist is also responsible for acting as an information resource to physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug-related information and literature.
• The Pharmacist provides coordinated effort, in conjunction with the medical staff and nursing, in the delivery of quality and cost-effective drug therapies to patients and must demonstrate a competency to provide pharmaceutical care to patients of all relevant age groups.

Minimum qualifications :

The salary is $58 - $60 / hour with a generous benefit package to include, but not limited to, employer funded retirement plan, 401k, and paid sick time.

Flexibility with hours is necessary to provide coverage for the department as needed. Weekend availability is a requirement.
