Job Description
Shift: Night
Shift Premium Pay: $1.75
Starting Pay: $21.00
Position Summary: Troubleshoots and repairs industrial machinery electrical systems, mechanical systems and electronic components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform equipment preventative maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot machines and equipment breakdowns to diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems.
- Disassemble and reassemble machines assemblies and sub-assemblies to perform repairs
- Replace broken or defective machine and equipment parts
- Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors and positions sensing devices.
- Follow all applicable EHS, Quality and Food Safety procedures and protocols, and reports any incident to his/her supervisor.
- Complete all EHS, Quality and Food Safety applicable training.
- Support implementation of the Quality and Food Safety program and comply with the expectations if this role is included as part of the Food Safety or Internal Audit team.
- Diagnose, repair and replace faulty electronic components such drives and PLCs
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A.S. Degree in Mechanical or Electronics Technology preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- 2 – 5 years industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
