Construction Inspector

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Construction Inspector for our Antioch, California office. The positions in San Francisco and San Jose are also considered. Be involved in projects with our PMCM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients objectives and solves their challenges. WSP has offices in Antioch, Walnut Creek, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Sacramento, Roseville, and Stockton.

Your Impact

• Read and interpret project plans and specifications
• Monitor construction for compliance with project documents
• Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures
• Inspect road and bridge construction (based on Caltrans Standards)
• Review, inspect, and approve traffic control systems, including lane closures, in accordance with Caltrans standards and requirements
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSPs Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

Compensation

Expected Salary : $65 / hr - $85 / hr, depending on experience level, location and other qualifications. Employee's hourly rate may increase if or when they perform services that are covered by California's Prevailing Wage laws on public sector projects, or are covered by other applicable wage and hour laws.
