IT HELP DESK TECHNICIANASEA is looking for a talented and enthusiastic IT Help Desk Technician to join our team on our evening/swing shift. SUMMARY: The Help Desk Technician works to manage corporate technology needs, including implementing and maintaining workstations and other infrastructure at multiple sites. Primary duties include solving a variety of OS, application, and other problems, both remote and onsite. The position demands expert knowledge in Windows systems, applications, and basic networking.RESPONSIBILITIES: Troubleshoot a broad range of desktop, server and network problems.Responsible for handling daily technical support activities.Perform hardware and software installations on desktops and laptops: Windows & Mac OS.Assist staff with hardware and software-related issues and provide solutions.Provide IT support over the phone and on-site.Document service tickets and final resolutions.Maintain broad knowledge of new technologies and identify those that may benefit company.Implement and upgrade corporate systems and networks.Team player on a 24x7 support staff, which requires periodic on-call and weekend support.Maintain company policies for access and hardware/software.Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years advanced troubleshooting of desktop OS and application issues.Able to work evening/swing shift, preferably Sunday-Thursday (Monday-Friday also possible).Strong soft skills, including customer service and friendly personality.Excellent relationship building and communication skills.Broad and thorough experience with IT support required.Ability to operate without close supervision and handle significant time and other pressures.Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and Proxy Server.Good understanding of desktop/laptop hardware and BIOS.Ability to install and manage Windows and Mac systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office latest versions and other components like VISIO Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory administration and other MS technologies (Office 365) in corporate environments.Net+, A+ and/or CCENT certifications a plus.IT certificates a plus (e.g., Apple ACSP, Microsoft, CompTia).Experience with MLM or network marketing a plus.
