Title : Nurse Manager II, ICU

Salary : USD $228,000 - $263,000

Bonus : Eligible for 10% sign-on bonus and up to 15% annual performance bonus

Overview :

A major West Coast healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager II to oversee ICU services across multiple units. This critical leadership role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and collaborative 24 / 7 hospital environment. The ideal candidate brings strong ICU experience, proven leadership in nursing operations, and a track record of implementing process improvements.

What You'll Do :

Oversee care delivery across multiple ICU units, ensuring compliance with evidence-based practices and quality standards
Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to maintain continuity of care
Monitor staffing, resource allocation, and utilization of clinical equipment and medications
Drive performance improvement initiatives and oversee operational workflows
Manage staff development, hiring, performance reviews, and succession planning
Lead emergency preparedness programs and ensure regulatory readiness
Align department goals with broader organizational strategy to support efficient and safe care

Required Qualifications :

Valid RN license in California

BLS certification

BSN required

Minimum 5 years' experience in ICU within an acute care hospital

At least 5 years' experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager or Nurse Manager

4+ years of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications :

Neuro ICU background

Familiarity with unionized healthcare environments
