Nights, 8 and 12-hour shifts, every third weekend rotation, and holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you'll care for a diverse and complex patient population including :
Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgical patients.Patients suffering from hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program .A high volume of spinal surgery patients and medical overflow cases.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , our unit provides exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care.

Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited program in Nursing.Experience Required :
At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience is typically required.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Ability to provide holistic patient care with a patient-focused perspective.Confidence in responding to situational changes and delivering unplanned interventions.Proficient in electronic medical record systems and communication tools.Strong interpersonal skills to foster professional relationships with patients and healthcare teams.Ability to make independent decisions and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.Skillful in coordination, delegation, and team-building activities.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach, and twist frequently during shifts.Must lift up to 50 lbs., lift up to 20 lbs. overhead, and carry up to 40 lbs.Ability to push / pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform sliding transfers of 150 lbs. with assistance.May be exposed to chemicals, hazardous materials, and communicable diseases, requiring proper protective equipment.Functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch are essential for procedures.This job description outlines the general nature and level of work expected of the individual in this role.
