Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S)
• Conduct tax projections and planning for clients to optimize financial outcomes
• Research complex tax issues and provide recommendations
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines simultaneously
• Collaborate with peers and partners to deliver high-quality client service
• Develop relationships with clients through proactive communication and advisory support
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in tax preparation workflows

Qualifications Needed:

• Active CPA License required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience focused on tax preparation
• Strong background preparing returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Experience with privately held businesses and individual clients
• Industry experience in construction, healthcare, manufacturing, or small business a plus
• Experience with trusts, estates, and nonprofit (990) returns is beneficial
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment
